Paatra was born from a simple observation: food is sacred in India. And yet, the vessel it arrives in is often an afterthought.
We looked at the kirana shop on the corner, the samosa wala who serves hundreds a day, the caterer who feeds thousands at weddings — and we saw a gap. A gap between the care that goes into the food and the flimsy, forgettable plates and bowls it was being served on.
So we built Paatra. Not to be the most eco-friendly. Not to be the cheapest. Not to save the world. We built Paatra for one reason and one reason only:
Because every meal deserves a worthy vessel.
Whether it is a street-side chai and samosa or a grand wedding feast, the principle remains the same: the vessel carries the promise of the meal. And that promise should never be cheap.

Paper, pressed leaf, birchwood, bagasse, ripple paper. Each is chosen for what it does at the table, then finished properly.

A brand that only works in a metro is not a national brand. Paatra is built to be stocked anywhere, at a price a kirana can move.
